Taken outside my Aunt's House in CV. . .
I am ever so grateful to her love and hospitality to us :)
thanks to my aunt for cooking the most amazing dishes like Nasi lemak, chicken rice, prawn noodles, mee soto etc that really helped us not feel homesick in the starting weeks. . . now that my mom is here as well . . . I can't be more happy.

We go on daily walks around the hood, this was one of the parks we passed by, it comes with all natural wildlife ie. ducks, swans and parrots.
I am there looking like an ediot, was showing the baby the duck but the duck decided to jump up from the water to pavement towards us.. see me running away from the duck *faints*

the couzins!

the sexiest sunset from my aunt's driveway porch!
OK anyways more about Perth!
I love the weather :) I love the laid backness
They have awesome supermarkets like Woolworth, coles , Kmart, target and BIGW etc.
It Makes you not wanna shop unnecessary but only for things you need and yet they have everything. They do! What we use to purchase brands like Bonds at Ck tangs etc, its their local brand and you can find it everywhere, even in the supermarket across the street!
It Might seem that i am a little bias at the moment, but i truly love
the openness and most everything good about Australia.
I realize! ..a lot of things are cheaper! it's been almost 10 years since i last visited Australia :) Supermarkets here is way cheaper.. and you gotta love their concepts of home brands! last but not least i love the weekend markets!!you can get veggies and fresh seafood for quite cheap.. Box of Capsicums - the sweetest you can ever eat 40 pieces approx for $10.00 .. my aunt eats this in her salad with avocado and its pure delish!
At the seafood market they provide you with gloves and plastic bags at the entrance and you just go in and get whatever you want! Just beware of some the China Migrants, they are scary scary. i was standing at the salmon stand right before my aunt found me and a lady with a mission came in ignoring the fact i was standing there and kinda started grabbing the heads like they were gona run out, so was this other guy, before he went off with a full bag of heads he smelt the gloves he was using, that was so weird man, i actually followed him and smelt mine! cos i was curious to know what he was smelling and the goo touched my nose~!!! eeeeewwwwwwww! Salmon Heads - $2.50 per Kg!! Bring Back Steam and eat with Soy sauce laden with garlic, Chili and lime ... Pure Heaveness! + the Caucasians here dunno how to eat anything that still looks like an animal, so we who know how to eat heads and bones and all in between :) enjoy low prices . . .

Am so Cite' we have finally settled into our cute townhouse!
Our Application was approved 3 hours the same morning that we applied for it!
This place is really for us! It is really the lord's blessing as we also manage to buy quite a few things from the previous tenant, thus saving us quite a lot of money!!!
i love the stainless steel modern kitchen and it looks out to the funky yard :D
Ella can really play in the enclosed yard in the summer! I love that every house is built with a laundry room!
Anyways i am very thankful to God because, the location for that house is perfect.
near my school with a straight bus ride, close to my aunts - train station across the street and a shopping strip behind the train station with Coles supermarket etc. Also I work Part time just across the street so everything is close to perfect at the moment.
I do wanna return to Singapore but only for the sole purpose of visiting love ones and friends.
Am not sorry for ripping up 30 years of our lives and starting all over. For me especially i feel its a new start to a brand new life :) i do miss the 24 hours hawker food and the convenience in Singapore...
It really depends what you perceive as quality of life -
Shopping and Clubbing and showing off. *sounds like every Singaporean* me guilty as well ... life on the fast track. . . or the laid back lifestyle, smelling the fresh air, miles and miles of sky with no concrete obstruction, Shopping for fresh produce and going home early and cooking a wholesome meal and spending quality time with family?
i kinda made my choice :) and I'm lovin it!
